POLITICIANS GO ASTRAY

So many destructive hands n'er a friendly hand shake
Most destructive hands point fingers in accusation.
Not open to any agreement, nor resolving for peaceful sake.
History's pendulum swings, human loving kindness bludgeon!

Closed fisted they are never open to shake another's hand
Their fingers are always pointed at someone in an accusation,
matters not in what land!
Shaking their fists in someone's face to threaten, that's all they
really care about
A closed hand is forever lifted against anyone who may differ
they're "stiff-necked," deadly devout!

A closed fist ready to strike in disagreement, lifted for attention to tell
the wrong someone has done.
These same "No Sayers" try to desperately hold another's luck back,
and stifle every positive action.
Always ready to complain, forever in a gesture of disdain...
Like a veil covering their eyes, continue to tell lies,
can't see the truth, in fact, from it refrain.

I feel such pity for them, for they know not tenderness of love, nor find
the clasp of friendship.
Warmth of the sun that lifts someone, or guides another to happier
days of kinship.
They deliberately deprive themselves of cheer, praise, appreciation
and even thanks.
When they shoot others down, unbeknownst, they
shoot themselves down, politicians don't shoot blanks!

Their negative approach to all of life can never do anything but discourage,
and frighten.
The positive approach to life is found in every gesture of a productive hand;
and will always gladden.
A positive approach builds unbreakable structures, unbroken peace,
and joy to soothe the most savage heart.
Money aside, think of the poor people please, remember always, "It's loving help
and kindness to them politicians should impart!"

They feel badly about themselves, and their negativity
is simply a reflection of those feelings."

Direct, revealing and powerful. You pinned them to a tee. Yet, in the mist of all this chaos you still provide a glimmer of hope. Good write.

Bravo courageous Consue for tis powerful write that denounces the politicians and what they are. Power-greedy non-entities that can do nothing but create chaos. Princes of chaos, . See the Arizona border and the suffering of the people who get no help from the politicians. who have only the increase of their power in mind and stomp the people's needs out ruthlessly.with a cool and arrogant smile.
It is the poets that have to bring it to the fore when churches fail to do so.
Wonderful write. Congratulations fo your guts.
Love and peace

You did impart depth and widom on this write
You captured every feeling I generally feel about these people
the buisnees of politics is a cancer if ever there was one
You have a powerful voice, and I'm sure who ever reads your work
is influenced by it one way or another
