[time] => 2010-07-27 09:05:03 [hometext] => a recent treck in the black mountains, sugar loaf is a very distinctive cone shaped mountain and can been seen for miles around. [bodytext] => A soft breeze murmurs through the silence,
The skyline ablaze with summer fulfilled.
And we walk together along this whispering
Shifting valley, each atuned to the other's thoughts.
The mountain range is sleepy with promise,
The deepening, widening glorification of mother earth.
And all the time the day moves slowly along this path,
Through the trees and the water of the river.
We speak but no words are exchanged,
Our thoughts captured by the stilness and desiphered
By the lonliness of this place.
Now we buckle slightly under the weight of expectation
And the sky shudders for a moment, a slow, deliberate
Slight shifting of the near horizon, that lets in the smokey grey
Cone of Sugar Loaf.
All along this steep path the sheep are idle, like an illicit drug,
Laid out in a long white line, newly shaven bodies baking hard.
We pause to survey the zig zag opening of our intentions.
The breeze stiffens, the sheep stir and we walk on,
Hand in hand until we come to the stoney outcrop,
Half stumbling under the summit's ledge.
One step, one more and just another and I reach out my hand,
You take it, I heave you up and we sit on top of the world.
Watching the horizon shrink. Hearing the clouds laugh. Beautiful line for setting the scene,'The skyline ablaze with summer fulfilled, then journeying onwards with every detail observed and absorbed, the relationship between you and you and Nature and the wonderful feeling within of being on top of the world as nature reflects your contentment and I the reader leave you with your memories and thoughts, as always a pleasure Anna x

SPLENDID in all it's glory. I love it when the clouds laugh, but yours laugh better than mine. A thoughtful journey along a mountain, in just the nick of time.
Making more memories, and my how you help your readers pursue.............all the many thoughts, and all the many loves of you, and Mother Earth too!
Fantastic write Dennis..............
There's something about mountains and you that end up explaining yourself and them, that is so beautiful too!
Warm love
consue
