> Struggling for release
> Feet kicking within an inch of life
> Grasping at the edge of reality
> With arms outstretched
> Your mind willing them away
> From the rope that burns your neck
> You believe there is nothing left
> Even after I said I loved you
> I do love you
> I want to set you free
> But each time I move close
> I am forced back by stubborn kicks
> I need you to let me in
> I need to see all of you
> To understand this hell you battle
> You told me earlier not to help you
> You told me to go away
> But I cant turn away
> I love you
> I feel so helpless
> Watching you struggle for something
> You never believed was truly yours
> Watching you try to will away something
> You didnt want to keep
> Watching you fight for a life
> You never believed was worth fighting for
> I tell you that if you can look me in the eye
> And tell me to go away
> I will
> You look into my eyes
> See the pools of frightened yet loving tears that have formed
> I see the glimmer of want in yours
> I see the unaskable question for help
> I watch your mouth open
> Yet no words are released
> How can you force out words
> You dont really want to say
> When you can barely force out air?
> I cut you down
> Cut the rope that sharply pulls you from life
> And draw you back into reality
> I hold you in my arms and tell you that I love you
> That I will never leave you
> That I will always be there for you
> Because its true.
> I do love you
> I will never leave you.
> I will be with you always.
> Keep me with you?
> Yes.

Tremendous write.
The human soul has added enormous dimensions to our basic emotions in a way you capture with vivid intensity.
