the stories made so long ago.
It seems so relevant right now,
I'm still searching for the way out.

Still stuck behind this empty screen,
still screaming just to be seen,
still running from past mistakes,
still thinking this time it's to late.

Optimism stuck in my head,
hoping the past doesn't forget
the good times that I know so well,
all the things that I to retell.

All the things that faded away,
all the things I wanted to say,
all the words stuck in my throat,
all the lonely darkened roads.

Stuck in the same old situation,
nothing ever seems to be changing.
It's just all those names and faces
living in all the different places.

Living because they feel the fire,
living for hope and for desire,
living because it's all they need,
living because they have to feed.

All my friends left long ago,
leaving me at my lowest low.
The night holds a way to forget
everything that I regret.

Everything that I believe,
everything that I have seen,
everything that let me go,
everything I'll never know.

Back up from this again,
find a new longtime friend.
This time I'll keep in mind,
one day it'll leave me behind.

One day it'll end suddenly,
one day it'll just let me be,
one day I'll be back at this place,
one day I'll find another face.

Very well-written with easy to read stanzas. Your writing has great clarity. I could feel the sorrow throughout this poem. Very nicely done!

I like the way you structurized the poem and how you made it work with your words ;) .

"living for hope and for desire" , "leaving me at my lowest low" , "one day I'll find another face". I love the expressions you have used.
Simple words, clubbed together in a powerful poetry.
Very well-written.
