Dressed all in black,in fact, all nude
And with him songs like bitter pills
Enchaining him with vile preludes.

He spends his time with restless rhymes
Such poems sweep like waves his walls
That no man born would bear his lines
And not be stirred or hurt at all.

There is a stranger in the world, my fairy by his side
To kiss the night Good- bye you have to make it drunk, dear...
He waits for dawn to come and then he makes it all undone, honey,
I’ll come to make it right...

While young, he much resembled God
Or so he thought. Such brilliant heights
Were his. Indeed what they had wrought
Were later on more silent nights.

His friends, such numerous, were true
They truly loved his gold(en hair)
So did his love, so he went through
What’s called a gilded heart affair

He killed them all, I’d better say
When he awoke from gilded sleep
The very day he went astray
Of sense was nothing left to keep.

There is a stranger in the world, my fairy by his side
To kiss the night Good- bye you have to make it drunk, dear...
He waits for dawn to come and then he makes it all undone, honey,
I’ll come to make it right...

The street was set in red, he bowed
His head to harm not moon nor sun
Enlightened by the same he vowed
To make his heartstrings all undone.

There stood this man of ichor blood
A fire fly , a scornful son
A Prometheus of tide and flood
A stranger to what he’d begun.

The grid he chose was no more gold
But solid, hiding from the world
Yet not fom me, ten thousand fold
Inside a bottle. I’m the bird.

He has in hand a gilded frame
A liquid silver in his eye
As if to burn or bear the shame
Steep pride inclines to pierce his side.

The same old verses are but lame
Just 4 mere words- his grin is wide
Well, ask yourself who is to blame.
He dies. I kiss his face good-bye.

He spends his time with restless rhymes
