Monster

Topic: AmericanTragedy

Pain.
As the red stuff spatter
Left the gash on my lip
And on my neck, a bruise
But his face, diverse.
Brimming with glee
Hysterical like somethings's funny
Arms wild and trashed around
My cries, without a sound
I saw it on his face
Pleasure.

What did I do?
I'm a monster, a monster.

Fear.
My swollen eyes; the trace of tears
Drowned by cowardice and solid anger
Determined to hang in there,
Always just a little longer.
As the red stuff spatter
But her face, disparate
Composed like nothing wrong
Wrenched; her arms were strong
I heard it in her cackles
Mirth.

What did I do?
I'm a monster, a monster.

Anguish.
I feel it now; yet fading away
My soul, the price I had to pay
Replaced by the flame in my veins
As the red stuff spatter
This time, I felt no torture
But their face, dissimilar
Strangely deformed expressions
Captivated, left me an impression
As their bodies flailed lifeless
My bloody arms dropped; hush
I saw it on my reflection
Evil.

They called me a monster, a monster
This is what monsters do.

Very vividly described. This poem was brought tears to my eyes with its sad tone. Very well-written. You have a way with words. This piece moved me a great deal.
