The only weapon is true-worship,
Sword, shield, and spear,
Ridding the heart of all terror and fear-

Through the power of its might,
Conquer and overcome every enemy,
Rejoicing always with joy and thanksgiving,
Putting the wicked and the evil to flight-

Walk in the grace of His presence,
Stirred-up by blessing the glory of His excellence,

For He is the lamb that was slain,
The perfect sacrifice,
Pure and pristine without spot or stain-

The only weapon is true-worship,
Sword, shield, and spear,
Ridding spirit, soul, and body of all terror and fear-

With passion, therefore, sing the praises of the Lord,
Faithfully following His every accord:

Singing the songs of Zion,
The songs of victory and deliverance,
Making a joyful noise with the joy of exuberance-

The only weapon is true-worship,
Sword, shield, and spear,
Ridding spirit, soul, and body of all terror and fear-

Release into the atmosphere that resounding sound,
Laid prostrate in humility upon the ground,
Singing joyfully of the mightiness of His works,
Overcoming all of evil’s wicked and evil quirks-

THE ONLY WEAPON

The only weapon is true-worship,
Sword, shield, and spear,
