When I sit with this pad and this pen
I let my emotions go,
sit back rexlax and just flow.
I close my eyes and it starts the show
My sub conscience takes over and I lose control
I become one with the words,
Adjectives and verbs,
nouns by the pounds
untill it drowns
out every thing else in the world
all my sorrows and the loss of a girl
I feel so unstoppable
like it is impossible
for anything to bring me down
until I can vent no more and real life surrounds
me once again
untill the next time I pick up a pen
and the next chapter in my life begins

poetry is like an old friend
When I sit with this pad and this pen
I let my emotions go,

I really enjoyed reading this one, it really captures that feeling of overwhelming inspiration and power of emotional communication that we feel through writing
