The final moments before her breathing will cease
The strain in her face as she clings to each breath
The fear in her eyes as she waits for her death

Deaths rattle comes knocking like a foe at the door
In a moment or two she’ll be no more
“Can I come in its time that we meet
Let yourself go and accept your defeat”

She closes her eyes and opens the door
It enters inside and envelopes her core
Devouring the vapours of her weakened soul
All of her struggles have taken their toll

Deaths rattle steals each attempt to breath
“Come with me now we are going to leave
Fight it no more let your body release”
And she drifted away
Rest in Peace
