Twisted words tangled In your brain reminding you of the endless pain. Constantly reminding you of how everything went wrong. Reminding you why It took him so long.. to say words that he didn't even mean. He thought he could walk away and start clean. The shame Is building inside of their veins. Those simple two words are getting harder to say. Now he knows he can't just walk away. He said the words that I constantly hear. The simple apology that I decline, cause they say those words after they slightly leave me behind. "I love you, I'm sorry" doesn't quite fool me anymore, cause they just closed the door. We are oblivious of the things they do, and we don't stop and think if what their saying Is true. Simply because we don't want to accept that fact that they probably took advantage of you.
