She held her hand as she laid in bed
She served her coffee when she was awake
She listened to every word she said
She handed her pills when she had an ache
She refused to accept her pay
She will survive and live I pray
And I saw her sitting next to her an evening
She couldnt move or speak but she began to sing
And I consider myself a tough man
But a tear sneaked in when she began
Cause we saw that she was still alive
She moved closer and they shared a hug
The passion to which I can only strive

very nice and soulful piece here, I loves the lines "And I consider myself a tough man
But a tear sneaked in when she began"
Keep it up! :) |
