My Hearts Best Friend

Contributed by Potpourri on Tuesday, 29th June 2010 @ 08:51:50 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

In all of my life
from begining to end,
always you'll be
my hearts best friend.

Amidst every season
that i survive,
you'll be the reason
that i am alive.

From morning 'till night
sunrise 'till set,
with me you'll not know
of the word regret.

You who made all
of my lonliness end,
forever becoming my
hearts best friend.

For what is love
but a heart that's aware,
is it not friendship
with extra care?

More than a place
we visit awhile,
love is your face
whenever you smile.

Just as the morning
knows of the sun
in all of it's heavenly bliss,
always you'll know
that your still the one
my lips are longing
to kiss.

Amidst every moment
submerged in an hour
needless to say
your love i'll devour,
the breath of your love
shall i breathe 'till the end
cause always you'll be,
my hearts best friend.

Beautiful poem. Great flow. The last stanza is my favorite. It reminds me of some Shakespearean poems I have read.
