A simple rhyming poem, what do you believe? [bodytext] => Sitting with the believers
By the fireside
The talk is of those long gone,
The return of those who have died.

The death so many years ago
Of a young man I can never know.
But these dreams seldom come now,
The old lady paused in the middle of her tale.

But oh, the nights she went travelling through,
Landscapes alien to me and you,
Sapped of strength when dawn split the sky's
The room now is full of if's and but's and why's.

So we keep on our way and tracking
The mysteries of the mind
Digging deep and searching for
What we may never find.

But the believer's keep believing,
And the non believer's tag along,
And you know I believe
That you believe
That life goes on and on. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 147 [topic] => 49 [informant] => cashfan1 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 12 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => mystical )

Maybe searching is just part of the journey and if it leads to nowhere then we will never know or be the worse for it, my curiosity in the spiritual will always be there though cuz there are alot of things in this world that are unanswered.forever keeping an open mind thanks for bringing the question

Dear Dennis,
I love mysteries, but I also love the Bible, and it plainly states not to try getting in contact with those we've lost. There are many wicked angels, or demons, just waiting to pose.........as those we're seaching for, and you can be sure, that they are up to no good!
I loved your rhyme. Such wonderful mysteries of the mind.
Beware~!
Warm love
