Array ( [sid] => 160747 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Alone [time] => 2010-06-23 18:02:12 [hometext] => It's how I felt today, again away from my family, this time for school, a month plus I'll be gone. The Phantom [bodytext] => Alone I sit, pain persists,
Unable to speak, considered a freak,
Hallow chest, a heart confessed,
Empty soul, my body so cold,

Journey to the bottom of a bottle,
Headed for a cliff at full throttle,
On the verge of cutting my own wrist,
Deep depression, i just can't resist,

Tears in my eyes, heartbroke by designed,
Vision blurred, an illness that can't be cured,
Left for dead, stop messing with my head,
Memories burn, will you return,

My soul continues to bleed,
I miss you and me,
Am I the one to blame,
A man driven insane,

The end is near, gray skies won't clear,
Rain will fall, your name I call,
Asking why, can't help but cry,
Feel so cold...just alone.

Forever Faithful

This poem expresses so much melancholy, but you wrote it in quite a beautiful way! I hope things get better for you and you will see you loved ones soon. Remember you are never truly alone if you focus on your memories and happy times with your loved ones. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder." I truly enjoyed your poem. I feel alone quite often myself even when surrounded by my family if that makes sense.

nice write...this write reflects what a lot us are feeling and going through at different times in our lives, but I've found it is good to have a gift to be able to express it...
