Thinking only of you.
Somehow you have trapped me in a beautiful trance
Fantasizing about what the future may bring.

In the midst of these fantasies, I have to ask myself,
Could this truly be real?
A match like this only happens in the movies,
Or Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Could it be that there really is a soulmate for everyone?
Someone so perfect that all of your problems wash away,
In the sea of bliss?
Could this truly be real?

For hours upon hours we talk,
Yet never uncovering a flaw in the other.
We understand each other on a level
Deeper than anyone could possibly ascertain.

In times of complete darkness, the simple thought of you
Your smile, your eyes, your laugh, your beauty,
Brings everlasting light to the darkest of days.
You are the woman of which I have dreamt on many lonely nights.
It saddens me to think,
That I would have ever settled for less.
Where have you been all my life?
Could this truly be real?

Others think that soulmates do not exist.
For they have never felt the overwhelming feelings we have.
They have never found someone so perfect,
That brings a smile to their face at the thought of them.

I want to hold you in my arms
Embrace you throughout the night.
I want to stare into your glistening blue eyes
And lose myself in the aura of your unearthly beauty.

My heart is yours to have
The only woman in my mind.
I endure every bloody day,
With that one day in my mind.

I fight and bleed for the day,
When all of this becomes real.
The incessant thoughts of you
Possess my very soul

I wait for the moment,
When our lips touch for the first time
The feeling of your body close to mine
I dream of the day that I finally meet you.
