Turn light again, and then turn back
Another day has come and gone
Another day that took too long
Tomorrow comes with different shades
Another sunset too soon will fade
Another chance to set things right
Another day, another night
Then the moon, in her restless dance
Shines all she can until she can't
The stars a silent witness to all
But one by one, they too fall
The trees bow down to the wind
Their leaves changing faces again
Fall from the sky and litter the ground
Flowers scent the air, but it's fading now
They want to live forever, but don't know how
Winter has come and the chill touches all
But your love keeps me warm [comments] => 2 [counter] => 296 [topic] => 2 [informant] => PhoenixPM [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

i like this...nice imagery and a well established theme and rhyme scheme, the ending is a pleasant twist to what could have been a very sad poem. welcome to YPDC, hope to read more of your work soon. Kate x

"The stars a silent witness to all
But one by one, they too fall" very powerful words you put them together so perfectly
