[hometext] => I wrote this poem for English class, the topic being war. After having kept this poem for approximately 13 years on a scrumpled up bit of paper, I have been urged to include it on this site so, here goes....
[bodytext] => The buttons are pushed
The bombs are flying Down on the streets, the people are dying. World leaders pushed the buttons The people all cry, "Why should world leaders live, while we fall and die?" There's no way out, no way we can fight For nuclear weapons are borne out of spite. As I look around people's bodies decay This has to be the world's final day. Look up in the sky see the great mushroom cloud The world is dying For crying out loud!
