So my commute begins at nine
But its 80 degrees in Boston
So I'm feeling kinda fine

As I wait for my train
I smell something in the air
Good old subway popcorn
Reminds of the fair

I'm a waiting a few minutes
Cause the last train I missed
I see the heat of the tracks
And I've stepped in somones *****

The train as no AC
So there is sweat on my brow
The heat is getting to me
Only two stops now

The couples are dining
And the lonely men lurk
The city comes to life
While I'm going to work

Work is busy
And I had no warning
I can't wait to see
My summer city morning

Your comment on Sitting and Thinking has been removed. Demanding comments when you are not willing to offer comments on our other member's poems? By any chance, do you see any contradiction in that?
