I spent my life trying to reach the end of the rainbow
The story has always been told of the pot of gold as you know
Today as I finally reach my goal I find it to be true
Though the gold is not mine but a small share for each of you

What was thought would be a treasure to make life an easy ride
I found was carried with me the entire time, within my heart inside
Now reality has set in and I share this treasure with you all before I must go
I leave words of encouragement and love as I was richly blessed by each of you to know

Though not physically here to lend a shoulder for your tears you cry
From beyond I will always care for you all unconditionally, never asking why
When you feel that unknown tug at your heart guiding you a different way
Remember I am only trying to keep you safe as you go throughout your day

God knows the love I hold for you….

Heartfelt and tender words you have written and this is a gentle read overall. Well done and a delicate write that was a pleasure to read.
