NOW, AM I BLESSED

NOW, AM I BLESSED

Now, am I blessed,
Blessed of the Lord,
So many blessings to numerous to count,
Filling my spirit with an immeasurable measure-

My joy is full and overflowing,
Giving me great strength, power and might,
The grace and the mercy,
I need to walk in His glorious light-

All my enemies are fallen before my feet,
Through the grace of His majesty,
Mapped out before the foundation of the world was laid,
Through the sacrifice of the Lamb, the price that had to be paid-

Weeping may endure for the night,
But joy has come with the morning light,
The birds sing of His glory in the dawn’s early delight,
Filling the faithful heart with strength, power, and might,

Don’t ignore His small still voice,
Speaking peace to your soul and joy into your heart,
He will not allow you to be ripped or torn apart,
He has given you victory in these the last and evil days,
So lift your voice continually in a song of praise:

No weapon formed against me shall prosper,
Every voice that rises against me shall be brought to silence,
As I dwell richly in the glory of His eternal presence,

He has made my way prosperous,
Overthrowing poverty, sickness and disease,
And in the heat of chaos putting my soul at ease,

Now, am I blessed,
Blessed of the Lord,
So many blessings to numerous to count,
Filling my spirit with an immeasurable measure-

Powerfully written and full of faith and devotion. I like the imagery you have created. I really like these lines:

He has made my way prosperous,
Overthrowing poverty, sickness and disease,
And in the heat of chaos putting my soul at ease,

Well written

U/E
