waiting room rambling

Contributed by LadyDama on Monday, 14th April 2003 @ 06:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

sitting here, sweaty palms
heart racing, i have some qualms
writing it out, pop a pill
how much longer do i climb this hill?
sick inside, my tummy hurts
heart is broken; my chest is burnt
sadness creeps, darkness falls
i don't seem to make any sense at all
what can i do, what can i say
to make this pain just go away
should i leave, should i go
should i forgive and take it slow?
so much anger built up inside
am i just a product of pride?
or am i justified in this abyss
is it love and honesty i miss?
help me please, someone see
what this illness is doing to me...

This is awesome. Good thing you had your doctor handy to figger out what your illness was. Another great write from LadyDama. Keep them coming. Butterat Zool.
