THE PLACE YOU GO, I CAN NOT FOLLOW.
WHEN YOU LEAVE, I AM HOLLOW.
A KISS YOU GIVE, YOU LOOK SO FINE.
WHEN YOU PRESS YOU LIPS, I WISH THEY TOUCHED MINE.
THE SMILE YOU HAVE, LIGHTS UP MY NIGHT.
WHEN YOU HOLD SOMEONE ELSE, I HIDE, OUT OF SIGHT.
YOUR LAUGH, IT RINGS EVEN WHEN YOU ARE GONE,
IF I CAN NOT SEE YOU, MY HOURS SEEM LONG.
TEMPTED TO TELL YOU JUST HOW I FEEL,
YET FEAR HOLDS ME BACK, LIKE A BROKEN WHEEL.

I have learned over the years that life is much to short. If you feel this way about someone, just tell them and let the chips fall where they may. I really do like the poem, again for one, relating so much to it. Again, however, why the all caps writing? I think the read is easier if not all capitalization. Just a thought obviously since it's your poem and not mine. I also feel one should write the way they want to and not the way others expect them to.
Take care,
Tim |
