anguished

Arrow to the heart left me stupid for you;
Made me weep in pain for loving you.
I tried to remove it from my chest,
But without success------
I only lost more blood in the process.
Who knew I'd be murdered by Cupid himself,
And you the accomplice to the crime?
Not my heart and certainly not I,
For I was struck dumb by an arrow of love;
I was wounded by your gentle touch---
Betrayed by the man I thought I could trust.

Cupid is an idiot!!! He shoots people with that stupid arrow and then takes no responsibility for his actions. He's the one that should be shot.
There's this other dude though. I don't think he uses an arrow and I'm not quite sure what his name is. But I am sure he is out there somewhere, waiting for you to just grace his life. There's always other chances for happiness.
Chin up, JB. You'll find love will happen again. This betrayal dude probably really isn't "worth the salt in your tears". Love should not have to hurt.
You did well because I can truly feel your pain in this one.
Take care,
Tim |
