For her exquisite one time kiss
What more could come, to all but sate?
Enveloped by her seraph bliss

A smile as such is Heaven’s wrought
Flesh and blood in mortal coil
Once gazed upon, my smile is brought
Will make the heart as if to roil

She brings the Maker’s breath to bear
Life unto this dead man’s chest
And brings him dreams of all but err
Melodious thoughts of love’s unrest

Tangible lot, these gifts she brings
Whilst holding me in angelic wings

Hi,

Welcome home, Jack!

Trust it wasn't too rough out there?

Your relief is tangible in your poem.
Well written!

Tommy
