accomplished this before
enlighten mood sooth the soul
bring you in the door

when i want an upward lift
i step outside and see
the mountains green in the distance
grey cliff and green tree

the sun behind rolling grey clouds
promise rain is on the way
greens are darker than before
with shadows and other light play

birds of every color and shape
continue their rite of spring
animals scurry out of my view
i do not say a thing

I walk and drink the action in
as though it is a play
how easy to visit this place
how tough would be to stay

my lungs breath in the cool damp air
my mind becomes relaxed
my heart is in love with this place
a bear jumps out and attacks

eeeyyaa! I scream hold up my arms
pretend i am the bigger foe
It does not sense my fear inside
I hope it doesn't show

thirty seconds tick off the clock
as we stand there face to face
Black bear decides i am not worth the pain
walks away from that place

my feet are brisk against the ground
get back to the parking lot
the adrenaline has my mind a buzz
what could be and could not

i calm again after some deep breaths
a sparkle comes to my eye
i stumbled into a sacred place
he was as scared as I

Awesome, that's about like me a few nights back.
I open the door and let out oreo, my dog out she's big. Stinky's little but bad to the bone.
They went to the end of the house next to my bedroom, I'm standing on the the deck and something went flying down the road in front of my house heading out the driveway to the main road out side my yard. I swear I never saw it touch the ground and that's about 100 or so yards to the Lane. It ways a mountain lion. I knew it was around but that's the first time I saw it.
I'd been wondering who or what was causing my dogs to go nuts.
Oh sorry, great write.
blessings,
emy
