[bodytext] => The Artist and the Model She sits before me, almost regal. I am to paint her portrait. Sketching her outline my heart beats wildly, She is unaware, patient and elegant. Whilst adding the colours to her face My mind imagines kissing those full lips. With almost shaking hands I texture her hair But in my mind I am running my fingers through it. Her body would rival that of Venus and I pause, Almost unable to commit this image to canvas, For fear of failing her beauty, her sexuality, And at the same time imagining making love to her. I am madly in love with this stranger, But she will never know, realise, or imagine, Just what she means to me, could be for me. All there will be from this subtle relationship, Will be a portrait and a wonderful memory. Alistair Muir 05/05/2010.
