There is something exquisite about rising
before the dawn;
her golden fingers stretching across the horizon
melting into blue
The stars fade like dying embers,
surrendering to the fire
that will soon set the sky ablaze
Soft voices call through the trees-
their choral notes echo in the pale morning air,
holding the fractured silence in its arms
Beauty transcends the hour
where thoughts of the chaos to arrive
dwell in some other dimension
And life falls into a hypnotic swell
waiting for the world to breathe ...

You have such a beautiful way with words that brings a surprise to each write. There is a constant brilliance that follows each of your thoughts and it always is a joy to read you. Fantastic imagery you have in this write and you have shown once again that you are a wonderful writer and poet. Stunning piece of writing.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh Marie this one was so special...........in the morning, before anyone is awake...........the silence, the quietitude of nature and her slumber. For me it's the best time of the whole day.
You're a great "word master" dear. You spin a beautiful tapestry for all to see. Oh how I enjoy your poetry.
Thank you so much for letting me know when you post.
I don't want to miss one single poem.........
You're the most!
Warm love
consue

Hi,

There is a kind of peace that so many of us miss
around the dawn, and for those who seldom
know this experience then for them there is
this poem. Capturing the phenomenon precisely.
