Array ( [sid] => 159449 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Mindset [time] => 2010-05-02 05:29:09 [hometext] => This is dedicated to Emystar, a great poet, generous with comments for her recent sad loss. [bodytext] => Mindset

My mind floats in a sea of troubles,
The waves of my thoughts breaking,
Washing up onto the beach of my consciousness,
Overlapping one another causing an excess.
Like a dam built to withstand the water’s surge,
My sanity and resolve is beginning to weaken.
The water builds up its mighty pressure,
And within time begins to spill over the top of the barrier.
So too with my darkest thoughts, my personal demons,
Which break through my protection and assault my stability.
The love I once had could repel any obstacle or challenge,
But in absentia I am alone and fear that the dam will breach,
And I will drown beneath a sea of troubles and heartache.

You don't have a clue how powerfull these words are.
My oldest sister went to the hospital yesturday. She's been living on aprayer. She's had a few heart attacks before and 'bout as many strokes. She lost her husband passed away last year. I just got word that's she's better today.
A while back I had prayer request for my nepheiw that has melanoma cancer, He came thre the surjurys fine but the cancer has come back with a vengence but it's in God's hands now. So I say again you have no idea how powerful thes words are. I'm gonna get my daughter to print it out for me to put on my wall to read every day.
It's amazing how you just put my feelings into words.
If it wasn't for my global family here I would have went under years ago.
But thank God he's always on time. I'm truly honered at your words and comments today.
Be abundanty blessed my dear friend 'cause you have given me strength in these words to carry on.
Big huggs, luv, smiles, blessings,
emy
