I sit before you, please you have to listen
This is no lie, I’m about to break
Please don’t let me down.
I am an educated man, a scholar with a degree
But I work in a factory and there lies the rub.
My parents are dead, expected so much
But I feel a failure to their memory and trust.
I’ve worked all my life, menial or otherwise,
But not provided progeny, continue the line.
I strive hard all the time yet am never happy,
Because they are not here to see that I’m fine.
What do I do to expel all this guilt?
I know not but I feel so alone.

Very sad but you are not alone.
You're a member of a family that's over 10,000 strong.
Your parents are your guardian angles watching over you as we speak. Love never dies, the body just plays out.
Scream, holler stomp your feet if you have too.
We all have to have an outlet.
hang in there and if you need to talk just pm me.
You're not alone.
Luv, huggs, prayer, peace, joy,
emy

Feeling as though you havent reached high enough you havent tried hard enough you havent been the son to be proud of these are all outward expressions of a perfectionist, and the way to deal with this is to give yourself a break and accept who you are. Then look at your qualities not in society's eyes but at your real qualities. No one can be an answer to anyone feeling alone but reaching out can be your own answer.

I'm very glad for the confessional nature and the title of this one. It's not easy coming forth with exactly how we feel. The loneliness, lack of fulfillment - those are questions that have answers that lie deep within the self. I know you can be your own savior. All the best.
