What’s the point in asking you?
When there’s nothing that I can do
What’s the point in saying yes
When all you do is give less
What is the point in trying to pay?
When you don’t ever listen anyway
Why do I still care about you?
When I can go about and find someone new?
You don’t seem to see me any more
You have gone and pushed me out the door
You made me believe in happily ever after
All you ever did was bring me to laughter
Why can’t I breathe when you are near?
But then I feel this pain when you’re not here
Now that I’m standing here not knowing what to do
All I can think about is how much I mess you
I know I could wish for all that I need
But then it’s my life that you would lead
So now I will leave and love you from here
And you will never again see me that near

Great poem. I have felt this way before. It's hard putting all the effort in someone who doesn't give it back. I enjoyed!
