the heart has turned to stone,
and you can bet a wild heart,
just won't be left alone.

why should you even try.
it's only gonna make you sad,
and soon you will want to cry.

Wild hearts can't be broken,
just turn and walk away.
it doesn't know what love is,
so don't ask it to stay...

Wild hearts can't be broken
but they can be slowed down.

You described very well the story of a heart that has turned to stone. A great poem.
