I hear them closing all around
my happiness,

They must have found
my soulful heart,

They wish it bound.

Without delay I rise to feet
and no defeat I'll see today
to know defeat would end life's play
for their defeat I'll quickly pray.

While dashing through the garden, there
I find her, poor heart unaware
in happiness,

They must have found
her soulful heart,

They wish it bound.

I becon her, to keep us free
of devil's plee, we'd find a cure
for devil's glee, it must be pure
if devil's flee is to be sure.

While climbing giant mountain, high
above the clouds, our hearts do cry
lost happiness,

They must have found
our soulful hearts,

They wish them bound.

Our strength we'll find up in the sky
where strong hearts fly, in times like these
when our hearts cry, we're on our knees
while demons fly atop the trees.

While pleading to the heavens, we
receive reply, now plain to see
our happiness,

They must have found
our soulful hearts,

They wish them bound.

Their weakness sought, now seeing true
we hold the clue, they've kept me caught
in fear with you, but now we ought
to see this through, a longed for plot.

We know now that our hearts belong
as one, this lesson is heart's song
of happiness,

We must have found
our soulful hearts,

We wish them bound as one,
now standing bright as sun,
commanding love, our heart has won
true freedom from the devil's fun.
No longer shall our pure heart run. [comments] => 0 [counter] => 105 [topic] => 2 [informant] => albenweeks [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
