To just hold my hand
And look away while I cry
Because you know I hate it
When you can see my weakness

But I want you to see it,
My underbelly shining blue
Just like my tears,
For another heartbreak, Big Sister,
I should’ve listened to you

You never judge, though,
You know I walk
To get where I’m going
I’ll never take a ride
Even from you

You must hate me
When I come crawling back
To your side
When I don’t keep in touch
Except when I really need it
But you’re my Big Sister

And I was there for you,
When we grew up together
And things stopped making sense
You knew before I did
Everything has a cost

Yet somehow your beautiful
Adoring eyes show compassion
An always, ever-constant marquee saying
I’ll be here for you
Because I’m your Big Sister
And I know

I wish you were here, Big Sister
To just hold my hand
And look away while I cry
Because you know I hate it
When you can see my weakness

But I want you to see it,

This screams of unconditional love and support. And
there is comfort in the lines that cradle a heart just where
and when it is needed most. Truly a lovely dedication.

A write full of sincerity and soul. There is nothing more warming than the feelings we have for family and the bond shared is amazingly strong in heart. A touching write.
