Aphrodite
I turned the porcelain figurine tenderly in my hands,
Marvelling at the exquisite representation of Aphrodite.
The craftsmanship was remarkable and detail inexpressible.
It was impossible not to caress the delicate statuette,
So light , smooth and delicate were its composition.
Closing my eyes I thought of my greatest love, Melissa,
Imagining that it was she that I now stroked so tenderly,
Running my hands through her hair, embracing her,
Feeling her pert breasts, my arms encircling her tiny waist.
My tears had begun to flow and I gently kissed the sculpture,
Replacing it on the stand knowing that Melissa lived on within me.

Great visuals, tinged with sadness at the end.
There is crafsmanship not only in the statue but in your work as well.

Hi
A touching piece.
I have one of those statues myself, and she's
quite alluring.

First, I'd like to say that I am sorry for your loss. Your beautiful words keep your girl alive though. This piece in particular was a sweet poignant example of your love for her. Take care my friend. |
