She's far away
She took on a lover
And he killed her that day

He murdered her reputation
He murdered the truth
Me murdered the good times
And he murdered me too

He slaughtered her spirit
He destroyed her beauty
He manipulated her kindness
He bettered her good reason

She no longer laughs
She no longer cries
She no longer remembers
My teary good byes

So she's cold in her grave
I don't visit her anymore
Cause her lover haunts the graveyard

My dear heart.
Yes, I can relate to this one in word and deed! I was married to a man that tried to kill me everyway but physically, and after I divorced him, he tried that too! He wanted to take away my smile, and laughter,
And then if that wasn't enough...he didn't want me to have any friends. After that the complete obsession took over, he didn't even want me to "feel" anymore. If I hadn't have found how to get away from him, I'd have been better off dead. They do that you, these "demons camoflaughed in man's form!" They are self-destructing and they want to take everyone with them!
Beautiful poem written through tears......I'm so sorry,
It was too late to save her!
