We should never feel alone in this world.
There are so many like-minded souls who
Try and find that certain someone.
Failing this we can be unfurled
Like a beautiful flower whose petals
Open up to release some sense or reason.

The power of the pen is mighty
And no matter whether it is lightly
We should put pen to paper and reach out
Utter forth an audible shout
For a person who feels just the same
Make them feel there’s no shame.

We write and we talk over the web
Find souls just like ours, with similar goals
Expression is good for the soul
It makes one feel whole, normal not small
A part of a group who support and uplift
Your being, you finally feel whole.

God bless this site and the poets who write
Who encourage not discourage in everyone’s fight
For sanity, clarity, vision or sense
In some cases giving people some form of sight
To see how their problems are normal not strange
And bring them from darkness into the light.

Great tribute to our global family here at YPDC.
I've been here for years and it grows daily.
I'm eternally in debited to our gracious web Master Mick that makes it possible to hang out here.
One thing for sure we're never alone here.
Good work.
Huggs, blessings, smiles,
emy

Perfectly put, Al. When those who support and love us put conditions on it, that is when it's time to fly. But when we find someone (or many someones), who give without thought, support without taking, and love without expectation, then we are truly blessed indeed. It's hard to find that in this pompous, arrogant, and self-important world, so when we do, it means that much more. Hold onto the ones that allow you to breathe, let go of those who put limits on their friendship. (or those with ulterior, arrogant and self-indulgent motives)

Wonderful piece of poetry. Like a little Utopia right here in the middle of chaos. :)

take care, my friend,

Seléne ~

God bless, indeed. Glad you're here, Al.

Be well,
