Array ( [sid] => 158847 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Rain [time] => 2010-04-11 21:33:56 [hometext] => This is wrote for my brother who died in action (he wasnt really my bro) we were at the same fort while in the Army.... Hope no one cries [bodytext] => The rain fell over the dead son’s grave
Soaking into the ground
Falling over the tombstone
That read “ beloved son forever missed forever loved”
Dark clouds formed bringing more rain

Trees dipped over the grave
The grave was soaked the ground wet with tears
Mothers tried to stop the tears from falling on the grave and tombstone
All they could do was ask “why him, why now?

The rain dripped from the trees leaves on their weary heads
Hanging their heads as they cried their last tears
Many people came and go… so many people come and go
Leave their mark on the world
Leave their life choices

Beloved son beloved husband beloved man
So many tears are cried for you so many tears are shed for you
Please come back to us
Please come back to us
Please come back to me

Forgotten over the years
Forgotten love over the years
Forgotten man over the years
So many things done with
So many things left unsaid

Many things not said to him
Many things not told to him
What was to happen to him
No more tears to cry
No more tears left to cry for the beloved son

Let life go one without him
Let the world go one without him
Be kind to him
Be gentle to him

No more tears left to cry over the son’s grave
No more tears left to cry
Nothing more to say to him
Nothing wanted to say to him
Just be one with the earth

Let the earth guide you

Years later kids come to the grave
Nothing to say nothing to say
Nothing ever told to him
Nothing whispered in the grave
Touching the tombstone

The sister comes tears fall onto the tombstone
Hanging their heads crying together
Many things left to say the their brother
Many things left to say their brother
Many untold things to tell to their brother

Going on
Going on
Going on

Gone for now
Gone into the mist of time
Be well beloved son beloved brother

This very sad but awesome tribute to your brother in Arms. It' really sad but it's still happening.
Luv, huggs, blessings,

Perhaps a more varied wording would have benefited this poem, very good though.

Well guessed what this poem did make me cry you know God give special people in our lifes and he takes them a way, but by his grace we will see them one day, nice really really nice, I hope you did.nt mind but here's a little poem I done for my Father, Mother and Brother has passed it's called How Sweet It Is

I woke up one morning and I heard Lord calling,
Calling for me, for me to come home.

For there in a distance I saw my Lord Jesus,
With nail scared hands and a robe white as snow.

How sweet it must be up there in Heaven,
Were all our friends and love ones have gone?

No fears, no tears, no pain or no sorrows,
How sweet it is to be going home.

Willie Sidney Conrad Joyner

you do have a gift from God always use that I know you will.
