Man, isn't that the truth? I've not written for
MONTHS now. It's all been bottling up and
getting mixed up and useless. Sometimes
the muse is not a friend, and yet, I wouldn't
trade it for the world. Nor, would I trade
your words, however they come out.
A fine and honest piece, my friend.

You know I always love seeing a new poem from you.
You have such a unique gift...the way you arrange your words...your poetry. It amazes me.
I often come up with ideas while I'm driving to work or when I just wake up. Then once I wake up enough to even have the energy to make it to a pen and paper, the idea, words, or thoughts flee their way into never never land. Or I write it all down only to lose and entire pad of paper everything was written on. Well, actually only did that once but it was decent...lol...all I can remember now was it a poem about a hike in the woods.
Your poem made me think of all of that. Very relatable.

| Thats a great way of expressing the reversed process of what happens when you write,often when you pour heart onto paper all the feeling is released but if the writing is not going the way you want it to you are left with the feeling, well written |

elle, you trapped the feeling long enough this time to write about it. And exceptionally well at that. So often we find ourselves kissed by the muse only to find her moment of inspiration impossibly fleeting. An artist's curse, I suppose. ;) Beautiful honesty, here.

| As a student, I literally write on the back of yesterday's study notes all the time, nice and sloppy so no one else can read it. |
