I watched as they methodically searched and sorted the pieces, bidding to fashion it's borders.
They became quite amusing in their pursuit, as they debated with one another, protesting the placement of pieces and barking orders.
Jovially observing, I thought, isn't that life...a puzzle.

Life too, requires a goal, a depiction to complete.
An individual vision that we each beseech.
Birthed from reveries of our childhood and maturing over time.
Now more structured, or even redefined.
How we gaze upon the whole and speculate it's worth.
Nevertheless, there's work to be done first.

The pieces rest before us, numerous and strew about.
Will we endure the undertaking of shifting through them and sorting them out?
A task not achieved swiftly, demanding devotion and time.
Yet, the indolent and disheartened shall desert the exertion, leaving their image behind.
Those frustrated or impatient, will endeavor to curtail the path fared, forcefully merging pieces not meant to be paired.
Only those who recognize the method needed, will eventually look upon their jigsaw completed.

Always be mindful of the objective at hand.
When the scope of the foray says you can't, be determined that you can.

One step, one piece at a time, is the golden rule one must keep in mind.

Scrutinize your options, don't haste to pick.
Remember the aim is to acquire what fits.

Establish boundaries to work within, against deterrents they will defend.

And the most important truth to comprehend.
It's never too late to start working on your jigsaw again.
