though he does have lovely hair
But that`s Italian men for you,
they really do have flair.

I heard he just got married,
he just doesnt look the sort
but they say he had a mistress
so glad that he was caught

Now dont his legs look bandy,
but he has the sweetest face,
and just look how those muscles swell
when he runs at such a pace

I wish he wouldn`t spit like that,
and why does he have to sweat so
I could never go to bed with him
until he washed from head to toe

Those blue shirts just dont suit them,
someone should have said
now if I was the manager,
I would have chosen red.

Oh I love to watch the world cup
but they wont let me speak
because instead of talking tactics
I`d rather talk about physique

Good write Pen,

It's a sport to be taken seriously though!;-)Hehehe
Dare I say a typical view, but you are right to prefer red as only the greatest teams play in it!

With love
Dean

I really enjoyed this poem:-) Ofcourse, I enjoyed the world cup. Maybe not for the same reasons you did, but your reasons made for a funny poem:-) Out of curiousity, which player were you "dribbling" about?
