[title] => The Snake Vs. the Human
[time] => 2010-03-11 07:25:34
[hometext] => I wrote this poem after my daughter showed fear of a snake in our backyard. It may seem odd, but I think it makes sense if you think about it.
[bodytext] => Glossy-hued serpents dance across the desert; humans tip-toe in fear across each sun-heated granule. Snakes smile with open mouths proudly displaying their fangs; humans camouflage their deadliest weapons. Snakes strike against their enemies; humans often dig their fangs in friends. Snakes never make promises; humans break them. Snakes fight fairly; humans sucker punch!
