Another like me you'll never ever find
Equipped with a most evil plan, its true
And tonight I will share it to you lucky lucky few

For once I had a plan for simple world domination
Every soul on this planet would have been in my great nation
But mum found out and put her foot down with a firm hand
And told me if I carried on the TV would be banned

So here I sit sulking in my room about to hatch Plan B
All of you, my genius, you will very soon see
But first things first, I want you to meet my assistant Stan
For he is a very important part of my master plan
He may just be a cat, a fat ginger tom to you and me
But you will see, to the whole plan he's the key
And on this plate I have a piece of lightly toasted toast
Heavily buttered on one side with the spread I like the most
Now even though you will all just loudly scream and curse
But with this cat and toast I intend to destroy the universe!

I better start to explain how my masterplan will go
A falling cat always lands on its feet, that every fool should know
And when buttered toast falls from a plate
It will land butter side down, it's simply fate
So what would happen if you tape the toast to the back of a cat
Place him on a plate then knock him off with a gentle pat?
I know what would happen so be prepared for the worse
For that would bring the end of the entire universe!

The toast could not land butter side down at the same time as the cat on its feet
So the laws of the world I have found a very simple way to beat
The two rules now broken the rest will fall like a house of cards
World will crumble, universe tumble now I've broken its safely guards

You will all know that I'm right
For I will push my cat this very night
I will push him on the count of three
So close your eyes if you don't want to see

One ....... Two .... Two and a half .... Three!
Right ..... OK .... Something went wrong quite obviously
For my fat Stan has landed on his feet
And is currently spreading butter on my bedspread sheet
Oh well, back to the start since my last plan went “POOF”
But first I better clean the butter before my mum hits the roof [comments] => 2 [counter] => 191 [topic] => 5 [informant] => Omen [notes] => Corrected spelling as requested ~ Moderator_18 Mar 11, 2010 [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => ChildrensPoetry )
