[bodytext] => ~*~ How long can I carry the fragrances Of varied flowers like a breeze which Has no essence of its own? How long can I shine like the earth which Depends on the light of the Sun and Moon? I am tired of repeating the words Written and spoken again and again! ~*~ I can not play this ancient lyre with its Broken strings in the gloominess of night. I can not sit idle on a sea shore I can not build castles of sand or air I will catch a piece of the wind, and Sculpture it into a storm to blow it off! ~*~ My darling Night, bring me a platter of stars I will munch them and rend the sky to release An ocean of dreams of pacific from its depths. O Dawn, these dreams are my seeds You can sow them in the womb of earth So that a race of new trees of light Shall take birth for blooming star-flowers And brilliant fruits of light on the earth! ~*~ [comments] => 3 [counter] => 229 [topic] => 19 [informant] => venkat [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 30 [ratings] => 6 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
