in the middle of the night
I go to sit down on the loo
and get a nasty fright.

Coz sitting on the basin,
as though he owns the place
is a big black hairy spider
with a smile upon his face.

I slowly back out of the room
my eyes upon him there
I close the door I breathe a sigh
I have to face my fear.

I wait until the morning comes
before I go back in
I sneak a look around the door
and see his evil grin.

I look at him, he looks at me
I dont know what to do
I grab the spray
he makes a run and tries to get away.

But its too late, his time has come
the end is nearly nigh
I get to have my bathroom back
I breathe a little sigh.

So let this be a lesson
to the spiders out my door
dont dare come in my window
coz ill spray you to the floor.

Add me to the list of fear in reference to spiders I love the way you have them with facial expressions! it's like something out of a comedy when one walks into our home, all it takes is one sudden movement and I dont know who screams the loudest lol

Hi,

Aaawwwww! Spiders have fears too. How would
you feel living in a world of giants??

Well written - very witty!

Ha-a-a-a! Very funny and very well written, though I like spiders. Perhaps it's because we have no dangerous spiders in my country, let alone we're sure they bring luck.
Konstantin.

P.S. Sorry, I don't know how to rate your poem.
