When it was wrong
You made it right
When it was dark
You made it light
When it was wet
You made it dry again
When they were hurting
Only you could stop the pain
Did they believe in you?
When they were shy
You gave them confidence
When they were weak
You gave them almighty strength
When they lost their faith
You made them believe in you
And they believed in everything that you could do
They believed in you
When they needed help who did they turn to?
They believed in you
And you were there
But they seemed to want everything you could give
After what you'd done that just seemed unfair
When I was low
You made me high
When I gave up
You made me try
When I cried
You made me smile once more
When the entrance was closed
It was you who opened the door
I'd never been here before
When I forgot
You made me remember
When I was cold
You made it summer
When I lost my faith
You made me believe in you
And I believed in everything that you could do
I believed in you
I believed in you

So inspirational for those who are not religious. It is always difficult to do religious poetry, at least in my opinion, yet you have done a great job on this poem. |
