When they needed help who did they turn to?

And you were there
But they seemed to want everything you could give
After what you'd done that just seemed unfair

When I was low
You made me high
When I gave up
You made me try
When I cried
You made me smile once more
When the entrance was closed
It was you who opened the door
I'd never been here before

When I forgot
You made me remember
When I was cold
You made it summer
When I lost my faith
You made me believe in you
And I believed in everything that you could do

So inspirational for those who are not religious. It is always difficult to do religious poetry, at least in my opinion, yet you have done a great job on this poem.

I believe this is a wonderful poem to honor God. Wonderful job!
