From the first time that our eyes meet
I wanna have dinner with you in February
And see how you're both smart and sweet

I wanna marry you (again) in March
In a beautiful spring wedding
We’ll just write April off our calendars
And get the maids to refresh our bedding

I wanna waste away the hours of May
Just talking to you; picking your brain
Then we’ll plant a garden full of flowers
And dance like fools outside in the rain

I wanna take you out in June
Dressed in your best summer clothes
And shout there’s no other for me
Just so everybody knows

I wanna kiss you in the rain in July
Because I feel you change the world
Most other girls don’t even try
They just give up when they get hurt

I wanna love you madly
Outside on a warm August night
It’s a time for behaving badly
But everything’ll work out alright

I wanna have a picnic with you in the cool grass
Underneath the sweet September stars
Thinking the kids grow up so fast
When you live a life as charmed as ours

I wanna hold you close in October
I’ll whisper a secret when the snow starts to fall
I’ll tell you that you're my one and only
And from the start I loved you through it all

I wanna date you in November
Just as the young woman I once met
Only wiser, stronger, and older
But still more beautiful yet

I wanna fall in love with you in December
To the end you’ll be my closest friend
And if we make it to another year
You know I’d love to do this again

From January through December
If you have some time whenever
I’d love to spend the rest of my life
On a first date with you forever
