I was made for praise,
Given feet to dance, a voice to sing,
And hands to raise-

I’ve been equipped to bless and praise the Lord’s name,
Fully demonstrating His love, peace, and joy,
Standing in the light of His glory, as a joy filled ambassador –

His name shall be in my every whisper,
Enchanting the heart of the faithful listener,
Breaking down the walls of separation,
With the joy and the power of His eternal salvation-

I was made for praise,
Given a head to bow, knees to bend,
And hands to raise-

I will bow my head upon bended knees,
Worshipping the Lord with all my strength and might,
Delivered from sin in the morning’s light-

Though darkness encompass my vision,
It cannot blot out His heavenly provision,
For through the darkness comes His streaming light,
Brightening my day with joy and delight-

I was made for praise,
Given a heart to love, a mind to serve,
And hands to raise-

With all of my heart, mind, and soul,
I will continually uplift the Lord’s name,
Living life, alive in the goodness of His mercy,
Redeemed from the tormenting flame-

Let us join ourselves together,
Completing the task for which we were created,
Showing forth His glory in all the earth,
Though in the eyes of world we may be hated-
