Before he goes into battle, a beautiful
Melody strung from cupids arrow, the
Whisper of hope.
Your smile is as wide as a mile with
The glow of a golden sunset.
Your eyes are deep and all knowing
That carry within them multicolored
Flexes of serenity which boldly shine
Through you.
Your voice is soft like the crooning of a bird
Before it’s song, the flutter of a serenade.
Your personality blushing with the hues of honorable
Righteousness that make all cling to be forever
By your side, and in your countenance.
When I am with you I long to stop the ticking of Father Time’s
Clock so I can stay in your presence,
Which feels like paradise flown to earth.

Signed,

One love struck maiden. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 164 [topic] => 33 [informant] => JakerBaker88 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SecretLove )

Some inventive clichés here along with great imagery. Oh, and I do not mean anything bad about clichés as I myself am Mr. Cliché Man. smiley

Thank you very much for an enjoyable read.
