Beyond lost
I must forfeit
At any cost

I didn't mean it
What I've done
Without choice
Life is my gun

It holds me down
Steals my breath
Seeks enjoyment
In my death

Kicking legs
Waving arms
Rolling eyes
Stopping heart

No more tears
Blinking quit
Time is coming
You should sit

Have to say
I love you all
Now you must
Watch me fall

One loud shot
All I hear
Everyone please
Have no fear

Steaming pistol
End is now
Waiting for
My final bow

Time has come
My forever rest
Please know

Standing alone
No one is near
Hard to breathe
Feeling fear

I'm so confused
Beyond lost

Wow.. i like the way you established this quick little metric rhythm that was very terse, very stacatto. .
