What pouting , powdered paladins ,
what wistful , wisened ones we are
when prying eye could spy that we are
naught but cold beguiling whores;

Naught but petty ne'er-do-wells and pretty scarlet whores!

Rumors , cackles ; Grinning jackals
vile , sly and scheming louts ;
Pure as preist , genteel as you please when
snooty boors are waddlin' 'bout ;

Fat , posturing , primitive boors swimming all about!

This glorious eve , delicious indeed
as thunder rattles Victorian Drive.
Eloquent wolves in wicked shadows
so at home in scandalous times;

So very comfortable inside these very sordid times.

Cross and bored with all our hordes
of gold , lovers , leisure time.
We crave a sacrificial lamb
to toss beneath the social lion;

Always searching for a fool to entertain the lions!

Defend , befriend and pull them in
like watching wolves encircling then
we suck your sordid secrets dry
and toss them to the waton wind ;

Watch your reputation falling down upon the wind

and then we laugh , then we smirk
though wit will fall to wistfulness.
Edwardian's cold and eloquent wolves
will need another lamb ;

Cruelty and boredom begging for another lamb!

The depth in truth conveyed is startling
our society is addicted to this degenerate path of being
and seems much obliged to be
and it's more than that we only need to look around
without the denial in which we drown
a masterful passage

You have a very classical style of writing. You seem natural gifted...and your imagination soars to bring two or more different themes together to provide a social commentary almost on humanity in general but specifically high society. Beautifully written.
